Novel semi-recessed luminaires providing illuminance on the ceiling

Concerns about glare and the effects on VDT's has resulted in very tight distributions providing excellent illuminance on the working plane but leaving the ceiling very dark. Often referred to as the 'cave' effect, the lit appearance of commercial areas using low glare louvres can be depressing and unattractive. The Corona luminaires were specifically designed to generate an even spread of light over the supporting surface while also providing low glare illuminance at the working plane.
