STANDARDS

Adherence to national and international standards reflecting quality control and excellence in manufacturing is a high priority for us here at Jordan Reflectors Ltd.

Our Technical Department is headed by Martin Afford who has many years experience on the subject and is a member of many industry committees.

All of the luminaires manufactured by Jordan, whether generic or bespoke, are designed and built in accordance with BS EN 60598, BS EN 55015, BS EN 61000, BS EN 61547 and BS EN 62493, meet the RoHS and REACH requirements, and are therefore CE marked accordingly.

Testing to BS EN Standards

Jordan Reflectors offer testing services for luminaires manufactured by third parties. This includes EMC testing to:

BS EN 55015:2006 + A1:2007 + A2:2009 Limits and methods of radio disturbance characteristics of electrical lighting and similar equipment.

BS EN 61000-3-2:2006 + A1:2009 + A2:2009 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) Limits. Limits for harmonic current emissions (equipment input current <16A per phase),

and photometric measurement to:

BS EN 13032-1:2004 + A1:2013 Light and lighting. Measurement and presentation of photometric data of lamps and luminaires. Measurement and file format.

BS EN 13032-3:2007 Measurement and presentation of photometric data of lamps and luminaires. Presentation of data for emergency lighting of work places.
